Going into more of the World

I know it's late, but I am so excited to have two more missionary families to share with you all!

My heart's desire is that we will be able to travel the world together, visiting missionaries on their home fields and rejoicing with them in the victories God has provided. It's great to meet missionaries at home during Mission Conference, or when someone comes through town on a Wednesday night, but blogging with them will give us all a real sense of the challenges they face in adapting to a new culture, language and lifestyle.

First off, let me introduce you to the Joe Consford Family and their blog the "Consford Chronicles" (http://consfords.blogspot.com/). I really enjoyed visiting their blog, because Bro. and Mrs. Consford have an in-depth information page with their testimonies and a chronology of how they got to where they are today. Originally, the Consfords planned to serve God in Ivory Coast, Africa, but they are currently serving in Ghana, West Africa due to political unrest in Ivory Coast.

I would encourage you to poke around their blog and see how God is using this couple from Center, Texas, to further His work on the Dark Continent.

Our next missionary takes us back around the world to South America. Bro. Paul Szabatin and his family are part of what is called "Team Peru." I'm not going to try and explain this here, but suffice it to say that Bro. Szabatin and his family are determined to do their part to further the Gospel in Peru, and from what I've read, they will ultimately have several other families joining their efforts. Their blog is called "Szabatin Peru Adventures" (https://szabatinperuadventures.wordpress.com/).

The Szabatins have been sent out of First Baptist Church in Hammond, Indiana.
